Deer Stalking UK
County Deer Stalking is a LANTRA and UK Rural Skills 'Approved Training Provider'. We offer accompanied deer stalking, deer stalker training and courses throughout the UK for both beginners and experienced deer stalkers.

As well as providing infield training and hunting experiences, we also support the Proficient Deer Stalker Certificate Level 1 (PDS1) a nationally recognised, LANTRA and UK Rural Skills Accredited deer stalking course, that offers a unique level of practical and theory-based training.
The PDS1 deer management qualification is available throughout the UK and is perfect for those interested in becoming a 'trained hunter'. It is also viewed by the police as a significant first step in obtaining a UK firearms certificate, or variation to an existing certificate to shoot deer.

As well as offering training, we have numerous opportunities to stalk deer throughout the South of England, with over twenty fabulous estates located in Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Sussex, Surrey, Wiltshire, Kent, Suffolk, Berkshire and Gloucestershire. Our estates feature all year round deer stalking for all six of the UK's wild species of deer, Roe, Fallow, Sika, Red, Muntjac and CWD.
Hunting deer is a great way to harvest a wild, sustainable, free-range, non-intensively farmed food source. All shot deer are inspected and prepared for human consumption in line with FSA guidelines and where possible, we encourage guests to take away their own shot venison.
We also offer bespoke packages for UK and overseas-visitors which can be put together at short notice. We are able to assist with hotels, airport transfers and UK hunting permits.

Deer Stalking Outings

At County Deer Stalking we provide first class deer stalking throughout the year, over thousands of acres of picturesque countryside. We have deer stalking in East Sussex, Surrey, West Sussex, Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Berkshire, Sussex, Oxfordshire, Kent and Cambridgeshire and our grounds are frequented by all six of the UK's wild species of deer - Roe, Red, Fallow, Sika, Muntjac and CWD. Several exotic species are also available to hunt within a superb English deer park environment.
Prices for guided deer stalking start at just £155-00 + vat* for a 3 hour stalk outing and cover the cost of the outing and your guide. For those without a rifle, use of the 'Estate Rifle' and ammunition is completely FREE.

For those traveling from overseas we can also provide bespoke packages, organise local accomodation and advise on the transport of firearms.
The hunting itself takes place at one of our picturesque private estates, either at first light or at dusk and is predominantly carried out on foot, with some periods spent in 'high seats' or at static points if required.
We want you to have an enjoyable and memorable outing deer stalking and so are very happy to accommodate your needs, be it in terms of the species of deer that you would like to hunt, or the manner in which you would like to do it. We aim that all deer stalking should be carried out in a safe, relaxed and friendly manner. However, we also aim to be professional and humane and will strive to stalk deer according to Best Practice Guildlines for Deer Management.
Finally, we will do everything we can to insure that you are successful however, we are proud of the fact that all our deer are wild and free range and as such no guarantee can be given as to success.

Our Deer Stalking Estates:
Hampshire Estates: We have in excess of 3500 acres of prime Hampshire Deer Stalking over picturesque countryside in 3 locations - Basingstoke part of the North Wessex Downs AONB, Winchester and Petersfield which are both located in the South Downs National Park. The stalking grounds comprise mixed arable, pasture and woodland and are easily accessible from London, Heathrow & Gatwick Airports and the M3 & M4 corridors.
Three deer species (Roe, Fallow & Muntjac) are represented in all venues. During the summer months these estates are perfect for those who wish to stalk quality Roe Buck.
Oxforshire Estates: Positioned just North East of Oxford we offer superb Fallow, Roe, Muntjac and CWD stalking over large blocks of ancient woodland and over 4,000 acres of arable farmland. Some of the ancient woodland blocks could best be described as ‘deer sanctuarys’ such are the numbers of resident Fallow, Roe and Muntjac.
Surrey Estate: A beautiful private estate spanning nearly 1000 acres of rolling countryside in the Surrey Hills. Positioned just south of Guildford this estate offers superb Roe Deer Stalking just 45mins from West London. Perfect for those who are pushed for time and wish to escape to the countryside for some quality deer stalking.
Kent Estates: We offer stalking on two private estates in Kent, spanning over 2,500 acres. This is a unique stalking opportunity that offers Sika (Japanese & Manchurian), Fallow, Red, Barangha and Pere David stalking in a park environment. Here the choice of trophies is exceptional and Stags will invariably be excellent representative heads and/or medal class animals. We also have stalking over an additional estate for wild Roe & Fallow deer.
Cambridgeshire Estate: We offer stalking on a large 4,000 acre estate situated North East of Cambridge. Here there is quality Roe deer stalking and large numbers of Muntjac with a good number of medal heads taken each year.
East Anglia (Norfolk & Suffolk): We have top class stalking with excellent trophy deer as well as cull animals across East Anglia. Stalking is on a number of different estates totalling over 10,000 acres of stalking in both Norfolk and Suffolk. Species available to stalk are Red, Fallow, Roe, Chinese water deer (CWD) and muntjac.
North Cotswolds, Gloucestershire: We have deer stalking over a stunning block of hundreds of acres of SSSI woodland for Fallow, Roe & Muntjac
