We support the Country Food Trust

County Deer Stalking & Capreolus Club become a key corporate supporter of the 'The Country Food Trust' charity.

The Country Food Trust

We are delighted to reveal that through the ‘Proficient Deer Stalker Certificate Level 1’ (PDS1) referral scheme ‘County Deer Stalking’ now contributes directly to the ‘Country Food Trust’.

This announcement follows a previous article in which we invited our readers to nominate a charity, one that was supportive of conservation, sustainability, and our way of life.

Many of you will have heard of this fabulous charity that was founded in 2015 to feed people in need. In the last year alone ‘The Country Food Trust’ has provided over one million game-based meals to people in food poverty. Meals include the Country Casserole – a nutritious and warming pheasant casserole, the Country Curry – a mildly spicy pheasant curry and the Country Bolognese – a rich and tasty venison ragu.

After discussions with ‘The Country Food Trust’, we have set a process in place that will see £10-00 donated to the Country Food Trust every time someone enrols on the Proficient Deer Stalker Certificate Level 1 (PDS1).

We revealed details of this process a while back.

Basically, through a clever recommendation scheme, we pay £100-00 to anyone that recommends a candidate to the PDS1 and simultaneously donate £10-00 to the Country Food Trust.

It’s a great scheme that puts money straight back into the hands of our readers and also benefits charity.

(Terms & Conditions apply).

Readers can expect to hear more about ‘The Country Food Trust’ across all Capreolus club & County Deer Stalking platforms in the months to come. In the meantime, whilst it is never considered good etiquette to speak of one’s charitable donations, I think on this occasion, we will be excused if we shout it from the roof tops!
