It was at ‘Home House’, one of London’s most prestigious members clubs that the Capreolus Club, and various industry professionals, gathered to celebrate Christmas and take a look back at some of the Club’s highlights from 2016.

As well as enjoying the usual drinks and canapés, Richard Reeve from Viking Arms held a silent auction for a superb Merkel Helix rifle, the winner of which will be announced in the New Year.

Also present were representatives from ‘Holt’s Auctioneers’, ‘William Evans- Gun makers’ and members of the CIC who mingled and engaged in conversation with club members and guests.

During his speech, club chairman Peter Jones delivered an insight into some of the club activities and events during the past year, including CWD near Woburn, several trips to Scotland for Red’s, Europe for Boar, Northumberland for Wild Goats, a Dangerous Game Morning at the West London Shooting School, Cigar’s and Whisky at ‘Dunhill’ in St James and many more events and trips besides.   

Peter Jones told 'County Deer Stalking' that the club is going from strength to strength and is well placed to continue to increase and improve its offerings to members during 2017.
